Primary Linings                                      Top of Page We supply many traditional graphitic rams and plastics including TEK-RAM®507A (11.5% SiC), TEK-RAM®589A (26% SiC), TEK-PAK®569G (11.3% SiC), and TEK-PAK®593G (26% SiC). We have also introduced rams and plastics incorporating a large aggregate design. TEK-RAM® 126A and TEK-PAK®127A provide outstanding resistance to abrasion, chemical attack, and mechanical abuse primarily due to their large aggregate design. They have proven superior to traditional graphitic products. They have also been shown to work as well as resin-bonded products but without the health and environmental problems. Our V-CAST®low-cement castables offer extremely low porosity, rapid dryout, and excellent resistance to the aggressive conditions with the cupola system. Our compositions include high-alumina with silicon carbide (V-CAST®FA2L, HSL, V-CAST®SL50, V-CAST® HST, and others), high alumina with chrome oxide (V-CAST®656A), and many others. These can be installed by conventional mixing and pumping techniques or through SHOTCRETING. SHOTCRETING allows for castable installation without the need for forms. Turnaround time and labor costs are minimized.

Safety Linings                                     Top of Page We have engineered DRI-VIBE®safety linings that allow for loose, unsintered materials behind hotface castable or precast shapes. These are generally part of a custom-engineered design. The designs are proven in foundries worldwide.

Maintenance                                     Top of Page We offer a wide variety of graphitic plastics and rams, chrome alumina plastics, and high-alumina plastics. Our V-CAST®castables offer a higher technology, lower porosity alternative if forms are available. These can also be installed through SHOTCRETING if equipment is locally available.

Other                                            Top of Page Our strength is in the design of a system that will work best in your melting situation. This design will likely incorporate graphitic rams, DRI-VIBES® V-CAST®high silicon carbide castables, and precast shapes. The result will be the most cost-effective system available.
